Budget Hotel with a New Concept Sep 24, 2009
It can be said that I am a fan of AirAsia.com, cause it is cheap and offer us many destinations in South-East Asia. So, when I saw that they have their own hotels, I am interested to try ;-)
I fell in love with the hotel at the first sight because it is new, colorful, and the interior is simple. "I have to stay there," that was I thought when I saw it in the internet. "Our limited service hotels offer a 5-star sleeping experience at a 1-star price by getting rid of costly full service extras that sometimes, you just don’t need… and shouldn’t have to pay for just to get a decent night’s sleep," is the concept that I like. It is very true ;-) These are what you should know about the hotel: - Bring your own towel, soap, shampoo, tooth brush, and tooth paste, cause it is not part of the service. But, you can rent the towel and buy the rest at Seven Eleven at the lobby. - You have to pay more for AC and you can choose whether you will use it for 12 or 24 hours. But, the room is equipped with a big ceiling fan. - Breakfast is not included to the price. But, you can buy it easily at Seven Eleven, Subway, or a restaurant at the lobby. - The room is small, the bed is very comfortable, the warm rain shower is super. - The location is good and closed to 2 train stations, i.e. Sultan Ismail (Rapid KL LRT Station) and Medan Tuanku (Monorail Station). - There is no telephone in the room and the staff is limited and unfortunately my friend and I got unpleasant experience with one of front officers. I left a message for Fran and the officer said that there was no message for her. When I reminded him about the message, he didn’t appologize to us, and even he didn’t feel guilty at all :P - Last but not least, I like the interior of the room. There are 2 mirrors in the bed room and 3 in the bath room. The mirrors make the room feels larger. And the unique thing that you can’t find at any other hotels is there are ads everywhere, elevator, corridor, bed room, and even bath room. If you are hungry, you just dial Mc Donald number that you can read on the bed room wall :P Delivered to your bed room and no minimum order ;-) I can say that the hotel is worthed to try ;-) Part of the Singapore and Kuala Lumpur for the First Time travel blog |
