Tulum is has a great beach, blue water, palm trees, sun and simple but nice cabins. What to say about sleeping in a hammock or drinking your Corona in the bar on a swing! And the diving in cenotes is something you must have done!

MEXICO! First introduction to the country, what better a way then to explore the Yucatan Penninsula...Chichen Itza, Tulum, Merida, Playa del Carmen. Man was it hot, slept in a hammock on the beach most nights. Ruins-amazing. Ceviche-sooo good. Margaritas-uh hem, otra?

Seeing that I live so close to Mexico, it is one of the places I visit quite frequently. I had visited the Yucatán Peninsula area of Mexico in March 2008 and then again in December 2008. This was one of the best road trips ever!
