 Sweet cakes, sweet cakes,....oh my sweet cakes Aug 15, 2008
One of our second cousins owns a bakery at Røros; Trygstad Bakery.
My grandfathers sisters husband established the bakery in 1906. Our second cousin made us a very nice decorated cake with cream and marzipan to bring back to our hotel. Of cause we cousins had to visit him. We brought him flowers to celebrate his latest grandchild’s birth some days ago. The bakery is in one of the small wooden houses in the centre of Røros. Oh my counters in the bakery were filled with sweet, delicious cakes. So we had to sit down and have a cup of coffee and some pieces of cake. I`ll let my photos speak for them selves.
