Trujillo, the third largest city of Peru, is located on the northwestern coast of Peru. It is known as "La Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera" (The City of Everlasting Spring) because of its beautiful weather all year round. The International Spring Festival takes place in early October of each year.
Important archaeological sites from the Moche and Chimu civilization exist such as the Chimu mud city of Chan Chan, and also the Moche ruins of Huaca del Sol, Huaca de la Luna, and El Brujo.

Trujillo is a very organized city. U can ride a Totora horse maybe! i didnt do it..but i guess is possible! is quite interesting to see how the people ride them and go fishing!Go for lunch to El Mochica restauran in from of Huanchaco beach!! foos is good and cheap! is very well known but is always busy so..try to go early or make a reservation :)Best beaches: Huanchaco and Las Brisas.U can visit the Moon ruins..also the Sun ruins!!If u arein Trujillo..u can jump to Chiclayo and see the Senor ...

Time for a bit of culture for us again today. All day on 2 guided tours of the temples of Chan Chan, Dragon and Sun and Moon.
We started in the morning by going south (which was useful as it gave us on idea of how the hell to get out of town) into some random road (thinking – good thing we did not try find this ourselves). On December 20, I arrived to Lima but I immediately bought myself a one way flight to Trujillo. I once again returned to my beautiful hometown of Trujillo.
