Tropics Hotel Bohol

Bohol Tropics Hotel is a 3-star hotel at the town of Tagbilaran in Bohol that could be an alternative if you wouldn't want to stay at the hotels at the beach front of Panglao island, 15 minutes away from Tagbilaran.
It has good amenities so far, 3-star standard. It is located at the upper portion of the town overlooking Tagbilaran Bay where the port is located. It doesn't have a beach front. There are multi-level swimming pools, a large dining veranda, and rooms and cottages overlooking the sea. The rates begin at $25 standard rooms.
From this hotel you can go to the town center and hire a motor bike w/ driver to take you to Panglao Island where the white sand beaches are. If not you can take the taxi, which is of course more expensive.
