 Great Beach and Culture! Dec 17, 2008
Staff were courteous and helpful. Hotel is only about 15 min by taxi to Havana. Beautiful long beach, locals come out on the weekend so its very easy to meet people. Typical buffet, you do not go to cuba for the food. at all! there is a pizza place just down the street as well as a grocery store. felt completely safe walking around the area at night by myself. plenty of phones and internet access. Don't use the elevator, it gets stuck. Take the stairs, I lost over 10 pounds on my one week there. Sometimes there is no hot water in the showers.
