Arrived in Manaus at 9am and headed to a hotel, expecting a shithole (have heard very bad things about all things Manaus). Pleasantly surprised and although over normal budget not that bad priced.

We found our boat among the masses of huge passenger and cargo boats in the dock that would be home for the next 36 hours. The sleeping deck was already packed with hammocks, people and luggage but we managed to find a good spot …… Boating along the Amazon |
