Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri
Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri Reviews
Aug 29, 2007
Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri uses only the best raw materials. They get malt from the same Scottish farmers that deliver malt to the famous wisky distilleries in Scotland. All beer served at Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri is brewed on the most acknowledged premises. If you are lucky, you can watch the brewer in action at the back of the pub. They even gives guided tours upon request.
They serve up to eight different types of beer, all brewed in the brewery. If it is difficult for you to decide which type you will taste, you can ask for all of them served on a plate in small glases. They also serve a selection of good wines, mineral wather and other alcoholfree beverages, beside a varied and good pub menu à la carte. "Beer is probably much older than what we earlier have belived", says American anthropologist Solomon H. Katz, "beer is discovered befor bread". Meaning that beer probably is the real reason why nomades of the time choose to settle down and become farmers. This was as far back as 10 000 years ago. The oldest written message one knows of,is etched into a clay tablet found in the vicinity of old Babylon. "Brew beer, as an offering to the Gods". The golden drink of joy has followed mankind around the world for thousand of years. And I promise you Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri gives you a taste of the ancent drink of the Gods. You must try Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri if you visit Trondheim. Cheers :o) Part of the Trondheim, July 2007 travel blog |
