Triple Rock Social Club

Great live music Venue, great beer, Underground atmosphere. A real joint in a awesome area of mpls.

In the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis and accessible by the Light rail (cedar-riverside stop), this venue is my favorite in the cities. It also has a well reviewed bar and is locally famous for it's vegetarian friendly menu. I haven't been to the bar part of the venue however, since I'm not old enough, but i hear good things. The only downside being that it's usually crowded.
The venue is small but in a good way. Good sound and good atmosphere. It really feels intimate especially if you are there seeing your favorite band. It's known for being a punk/alternative location but also hosts indie hip hop and heavy metal. I would suggest heading over there if you are in town even if you don't know who's playing.
