We reach! Here's a few pics of Maracas Bay. It's a must go place if you ever reach in Trinidad. On your way there there's a green bambu hut. Stop off and try the pineapple chow. It's one of my favourite things to do on your way to the beach. Also, for lunch get a RICHARD's shark and bake! On weekends its the busiest hut around but that only means one thing. It's the best!!

Trinidad Carnival 2008: Trinidad and Tobago Travel Photos

Trinidad is my other home--where I lived for 8 years of my life and where much of my family is from. Tend to go on the even years, because that's when we have family reunions--right around Carnival. Lime with endless cousins and pham, gorge on cook-up, roti and curry, drink-drink-drink at some all-inclusives, then play Juvay n Mas. Can't wait till 2010!

Due to the small size of the island, we were unable to take any official tour. However it gave us the day to make a more personal tour by ourselves. The people who live on these islands are fantastic. They are as warm and sunny as their weather, and make you feel most at home. As we visited ju…

Hello All,As much as I like to keep on the move during a trip, there is nothing like settling into a nice hotel room.  You can actually put your things into the dresser, load up the fridge, do some laundry, and get to know the area.  The Coral Caribe was a very nice place to stay, but I was certa…

Everyone told me that this was a 3rd world country and instantly I came up with images of dispare and poverty in my mind. In some cases the images were correct but what I found was just people trying to live life the best they can. I can say that I enjoyed my trip to Georgetown thanks in part to the people in the office down there. They definately made the trip fun.
