Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral Reviews
Germany's oldest cathedral is like a multiplex, and it's ALL free! May 03, 2016
Situated in the heart of ol' town Trier, this Catheral is hard to miss. It's an imposing piece of brick structure - which, unlike other cathedrals (which are built and rebuilt), has been added on to since inception. It's survived a series of wars and rulers, and today lies as a reminder of the history of this Roman town. There are several artifacts here including a robe that Jesus supposedly wore. And an entire section of wooden statues and a podium. I would strongly recommend a visit here. I found the town quite middling in general but this was a welcome highlight and redeemed my love for the town.
