Tri-Rail regional transport in Florida Nov 09, 2013
Tri-Rail regional transport in Florida is a good and cheapest way to go to the airports in the area. It is the only “serious transportation option for public aside of taxi, rent-a-car and Greyhound buses. Good thing about Tri Rail is that it connects Amtrack stations, Metro station in Miami and three major airports in Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Miami. They have good website with time tables. I was going from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale airports and it cost me $3.75. In Ft. Lauderdale station there are free shuttles that take passengers to the desired terminals. On Miami side you can take metro to the Airport station (cost is $2:25).
