Trezien Lighthouse Reviews
Trezien Lighthouse and its museum Aug 12, 2010
This lighthouse was built in 1894. It is 37m high, elevated at 86m.
It is open to visitors in summer. From the top, the Pointe de Corsen, which is the limit between the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, can be seen as it is 1,5 kilometers away. There is also a great panorama on the islands of the area: Molene islands, Ouessant...
A guide up there introduces all the other lighthouse that can be seen (or almost seen ^^). Very nice.
On the ground in the house nearby, there is a small museums about lighthouses of the area. Very interesting.
I loved the model of the Four Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located 2 kilometer away from the land. The model shows the inside, where the guardian used to live. I wish it was open to visitors, or even for a stay in ^^ So cute!
Otherwise, some lights and mechanicals of lighthouse are exposed, and some explanations.
