Travelodge King cross London Reviews
Clean and affordable hotel Jun 13, 2012
During my recent trip to UK, I have stayed in Travelodge thru out my journey. I have stayed in Travelodge Gray Inn Road London, Travelodge Farrington London,Travelodge Seasider Way Blackpool, Travelodge Kettering A14 Westbound,Travelodge Queen Street Edinburgh and Travelodge South shore Brighton, Travelodge Dunstable Road Luton and Travelodge Penrith A66 Redhills Cumbria. So this review is a general review of Travelodge I have stayed. I found the rooms layout are similar in all the hotels and their standard of service are all about the same.I booked one month in advance and I got average of 25 pounds for rooms outside London and 55 pounds for rooms in London per night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds are clean and plenty of tea and coffee satchets in the rooms for you to prepare your own drinks. The only complain I have is that there are no free wifi in the hotels.Hotels in London, blackpool, Luton and Brighton have Internet computers in the lobby for use at 1 pound for 20 minutes while the rest dont have one. They have wifi but you need to register and pay etc. I couldn't get through the procedure as it is very tedious. The best travelodge I have stayed in is Blackpool. It is fairly new and the rooms are large. The worst is Travelodge Luton. The TV is old type and the channels are few. Other than that, I am very satisfied with them and will use Travelodge again for my next trip.
