Perfect setting Apr 29, 2011
The restaurant in the Travellers Beach Resort was quite nice. The visual setting was perfect; it is virtually on the water, you have a small strip of 5 meters beach between you and the water, and you have the most wonderful sunset every evening around 6 pm – 6.30 pm. The tables are set up nicely and you are seated in nice chairs.

The menu has a small variety but you have choices in fish, shrimps, lobsters, chicken and meat so I guess it covers the most. I went for a Jumbo Shrimp in garlic with salad and frites. The shrimps were great, nicely cooked and they had not gotten too much, which is quite easy. The meal was good; there was not too much garlic. The wine was a white Argentinean and fair but not more.

The second evening I had the conch steak that turned out to be really great as well.

One thing that you have to beware for and that is to avoid their karaoke nights, which are Friday and Sunday because then you can’t hear what you think. On these days I recommend that you finish your meal before 7 pm.
