When we arrived in Chiang Mai, finally, after enduring hours of boat trips from Luang Prabang and hours of minvan ride from the border, we were desperate for a place to put our stuff down and unwind.

It was not after arguing with the tuk tuk rider for taking us to places that he "recommended" that we were finally taken to this place. That was after telling him that we need a cheap place which is within our tight budget.

Traveller Inn is very underrated. The place has almost everything that we need. For 600 baht per night we got a very spacious bedroom, shower that works and tv with HBO on it. The place is a little bit old with wear and tear seen in some parts of the room but then the air conditioner work and the place was decent enough to sleep in so I didn't complain. What I really like about this place is that it is just 5-minute walking distance to the night market. There is also an elevator which was a blessing for us then as our rucksacks were beginning to dig into our shoulders.

It is also close to the centre town and the famous historical wall that once was the border of Chiang Mai.
Yup it was comfortable.
They've got tv! Civilisation!!!
