I think it would be difficult to travel with a baby in Costa Rica. A lot of the interesting attractions are "off the beaten path", and even some of the main roads are pretty bumpy and rough. Also, limited access to medical care should emergencies arise, depending on where you are.

Well hello Eric, I've never personally been to Costa Rica so I wouldn't be able to help you answer this. But it is possible to travel with a baby. It would be smart to pick a great destination. I've learned how to find great destinations from this book I bought called 101 Accessible Vacations: Vacation Ideas for Wheelers and Slow Walkers. It's full of amazing tips which I believe are located on the website.
You should check it out before you take your little one(s) http://www.101AccessibleVacations.com
If you need any tips or have any questions, feel free to ask I own the book and love it.
Take care. Chrissy
