Practical and Useful Travel Gear and Accessories for Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers Oct 24, 2008
When traveling with my young child, I needed solutions for keeping her entertained and organized on the road and on the plane. I discovered this website, http://childtogo.com, for children's travel gear. I found that the car seat accessories and air travel gear really helpful in moving through the airports. I didn't know that this type of gear existed out there, so it was helpful to find it all in one place.
For the car, we got the Taby Tray that we used like the seat tray on an airplane. It was her drawing table, eating table and play table. We liked the fact that it was a hard surface and her pencils didn't puncture through her paper. The little drink well helped stabilize her cup when we were eating on the go. As for going through airports, I couldn't have made it with all our stuff with out the kids travelmate carseat/stroller converter. I was able to have her carseat with me, but not need an extra stroller for the airport. When she got tired of walking between the gates, she sat in it. When she wasn't in it, I used it to carry our carry-on bags. Reduced one less piece of equipment for me. There are a lot of other useful things that I didn't know existed but found on this site, like the carseat cooler pad. That helps when you're from the South in the summer. I also liked the tether safety straps, especially since my little girl will wander off now that walking is her favorite past time. Just thought I would share this site with other parents.
