Travel clothes: one suitcase ~carry on! Apr 05, 2009
What to take is always a problem: what to wear: Dress conservatively : it will look more European. What you actually take to wear depends on where you are going, what you are doing and when you are going.... :
Try to choose shoes that are not sparkling white: but they don't need to be black either.... comfort is the key here.... you usually get what you pay for.. We have been traveling in Keen shoes with holes on the sides .. ask around... shoes are the most important thing: when your feet go down your day goes down.. that's a fact.. My suggestion is to travel very light: the most people you see will only see you one time. So variety isn't an issue. Pick two coordinating colors and stick with them: In the past I have chosen my main color as Royal blue and black (even different colors of black match as opposed to different colors of blue or pink.... ) A friend of mine chose tan and black. She had more colors and less restrictive Every single thing in your suitcase should match at least two things... or more.... and they will if you stick to two main colors.... every shirt should match your pants or shorts and your coat and sweater should coordinate.... Don't take "just in case things..." think of the weight and carrying the load as you are in an airport or running for a train. Or walking the streets looking for lodging for the night.... pounds add up. My biggest weight is usually the extras: shampoos, lotions, pills, ... I am working on that. It's a personal problem....lol...... Whatever you decide to wear: have fun and be a happy traveler.... Doors open for the nice and cheery travelers.... Happiness is not a destination it is a manner of traveling.... HAVE FUN!! |
