Travel Guide - Bangkok - Things To Do Reviews

I recently traveled with four of my friends to Bangkok for a week. Right before we left we decided that it was best to try to find a tour guide because we had no idea what it was going to be like. We happened upon the name and email address of a local tour guide/cab driver. (Niwat Homsantea (Nick Bangkok) Nickbangkok@hotmail.com) His help was invaluable to our trip! Many of the cab drivers in Bangkok are less than honest, but he was very upfront, and he seemed to have all the inside connections on great attractions in and around Thailand. He was willing to drive us around to different sights and provide some background information. He also watched out for us so that we were not scammed by any of the local businesses. Nick was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. As a group of five, we would spend $15 for a day around Bangkok (as a group, not individually) and anywhere from $50 to $90 to travel outside of Bangkok.

He became the sixth member of our trip to Thailand, and I don't think we would have had the same amazing experience without him.
