This trattoria was recommended by the hotel, and we trust the local's expertise.
Besides bread with olive oil and basalmic vinegar, we had complimentary serving of pecorino cheese with honey for appetizer. While being in Florence, we have to try the speciality, 'Bistecca alla Florentina' (Florentine steak), the portion is huge, minimum is 700 grams. My brother had it, but I settled for the 'Lombartina', veal cutlet of a smaller portion. The grilled steaks are not marinated, it is just the authentic taste of the juicy meat.
The steaks were so filling that we skipped dessert.
