Transport to Suvharnabhumi Airport Bangkok Reviews

If you need to get to the airport from Bangkok during the day time there are a number of options. The cheapest is probably to get the BTS to Phaya Thai station and then get the airport link train from there. You can get the high speed train, which takes about 15 minutes, for about 150 Baht, or you can get the normal train, which takes about half an hour, for 45 Baht. Both trains will bring you directly into the airport terminal.
There are also numerous mini bus services that depart from most hotels (price varies) or you can get the Khao San bus for 150 Baht. To get these tickets there is a stall at the police station end of Khao San (near the falaffel stall). I think these buses have departures throughout the day and night.
The other alternative, especially if you're travelling late at night or very early in the morning, is taxi. It's the most comfortable way to get to the airport and will cost between 250 - 400 Baht depending on where you are departing from. If you're travelling at night, then you can avoid the expressway tolls, making you're journey cheaper still. Make sure the driver uses his meter though, or you will end up paying more. There are so many taxis in Bangkok that you can afford to say no to a few, there will always be another one! If you find that a lot of taxis won't take you with the meter on, then a good trick is just to walk a bit farther away from the touristy areas and you will generally be OK.
