Budget division of KLM, but no so budget. Nov 24, 2010
Transavia.com is the budget airline owned by KLM. They mainly fly to holiday destinations in southern Europe. They also serve as a charter airline. I've flown with them once some years ago, on a charter from Amsterdam to Faro, Portugal. As is often the case with charters the flight was delayed. One thing I remember wel is the limited space.

I've been wanting to fly with them again, mainly because they fly from Rotterdam Airport which is on cycling distance from my home. Unfortunately Transavia is just expensive, sometimes even more expensive than 'mother' KLM...

Overall they're definitely not bad, but just too expensive.
