Trader Vic Easter Buffet Apr 12, 2009
Trader Vic must be one crazy mother fucker, and thats totally reflected in his easter buffet, which had a few of his dishes, a roasted suckling pig, a fruit stand, cheese stand, sushi, and an omellette chef.

The buffet had a few of the singature dishes, including eggs bendidect with asparagus dumplings (very good), crispy duck (nothing special), mango chili beef (not something you want to eat at 10 in the morning), but the main attraction proved to be the empress chicken, which was a chicken stir fry in sort of a honey, mango, chili glaze.... mmmmmmm all parties involved could not believe how good it was.

The buffet also include your choice of a mermosa, or a mai tai, both were delicious and had generous amounts of liqour in them.

The decor however is what made the place. It had tiki's all over the place, the waitresses were cute, it had a garden in the middle, and the manager was sporting a white suite.... sweet.

I will be visiting this place again, and they also have a generous happy hour.
