I’m not super into cars but this museum was really worth the trip, I had a good time. For only 1000Yen (about $10.00USD) we got into the museum with a tour from this cute little Japanese lady. She was dressed in this cute little cute and carried around this little speaker and microphone. She couldn’t speak English but she had a hour long tour memorized in English, she was awesome!
There was two stories of cars dating back from the start of it all. Some are originals and some are reproductions, but they are all beautiful and amazing to look at. There is a fun kid zone too. After the tour (which is a little long) you can enjoy a meal down in the restaurant which is very good. I suggest the cream soda (it’s neon green!).  Part of the Japan 2007 travel blog

Toyota Automobile Museum . One thing that I never knew was it used to be Toyoda but they changed it because it apparently was too difficult to say... I think when ever I say Toyota I actually say Toyoda....lol. Anywho, it was great seeing all these… Toyota Automobile Museum |

- Directions: From central Nagoya, take the Higashiyama Subway Line to Fujigaoka and transfer to the Linimo. The museum is a few steps from Geidaidori Station. The trip from central Nagoya takes about 45 minutes and costs 570 Yen one way.
