Tower of the Juche Idea

I was very much looking forward to a visit to the Tower of Juche Idea in Pyongyang, North Korea, and I was not disappointed. The tower is named after the Juche principle practiced in North Korea which is a combination of self-reliance, Marxism and isoloationism. It is over 550 ft. high. One can ascend the monument by elevator (which is safe) and thus have fews of the entire city of Pyongyang.
