Toshi Japanese Restaurant Brampton Reviews
Good Japanese food Mar 04, 2011
Toshi Japanese Restaurant is a good option if you are in the Toronto area. The restaurant is nothing fancy, it is very simple decorated, but they serve good Japanese food at a cheap price. On the menu you will find appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, teriyaki and sushi & sashimi. Green tea is complimentary, but you can also buy soft drinks, beer, wine and sake.
You can order sushi & sashimi sets, which include salad and miso soup for USD 12-14. A lunch menu like a Bento box is USD 12-16, noodles USD 7-14. Salads and soups start at USD 1,95. I had sushi and Susan had the Bento box. Both orders were very good and nicely presented.
Toshi also offers an extensive takeout menu. A medium chicken teriyaki, including stir fried vegetables and rice, will set you back USD 6,75. The portions are large and medium is enough for two meals.
Toshi Japanese Restaurant is obviously a family business and everyone is working together. Our two waitresses were helpful and very sweet.
This restaurant used to be located in the Shoppers World Mall, but was squeezed out due to envy. Thoshi was successful and therefore busy. The other restaurants in the mall went together and sign a petition saying that Toshi took business away from them. People are so mean. Why not be happy when someone succeed!!!!! Toshi moved and expanded his restaurant, which he had not planned to do in several years. Business has picked up and he is now busier than ever.
I can recommend Toshi Japanese restaurant. They serve good Japanese food at a very reasonable price.
