Toscana Tokyo Reviews
Cheap, decent Italian May 23, 2015
Toscana is a small Italian restaurant located on the second floor of an office building.
There isn't anything too remarkable or special about it, but it's decent Italian food for relatively cheap prices ($10 USD).
The menu is entirely in Japanese and there didn't appear to be any English translations. Fortunately, there were lots of photos.
Most of the pasta is homemade. For my main, I ordered a linguine dish with a bolognese sauce. It was flavorful but a bit oily and salty.
The appetizer, octopus marinated in a sort of vinaigrette sauce, was the best part of the meal.
I wouldn't recommend ordering the bread - it's literally two tiny pieces of toast, for $2.
In terms of environment, the restaurant seemed very popular with the young professional, after work crowd.
It's in a heavily business district, so probably too far out of the way for the average tourist. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are hungry and in the area.
