Just a cheap and cheerfull holiday in Spain, we knew before booking that Torremolinos wasnt 'real' Spain, there are high rise apartments, english bars and plenty of tourists around but thankfully we went at the start of the holiday season so didnt see much of that side of the place. We spent the week chilling out at the beach, wandering around the little handy craft stalls and going out to bars and clubs on the evening.

A holiday trip for a change :) Just taking it easy, visiting friends in Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Mijas with relaxation as the top priority. Just pics with witty commentaries, sorry...

We spent 3 weeks traveling through Spain with an old high school buddy and my daughter, Lisa. We started out driving with our friends for 5 days then joined a Globus bus tour in Madrid. Great trip, saw a lot of Spain and had a great time!

Ed and I traveled with another couple for 5 days and then joined a Globus tour of Spain. We saw a lot and really enjoyed learning more history and seeing this beautiful country.

Having heard so much about the Spanish coast I thought a summer tour would be an interesting trip. Unfortunately, being Australian, I've been spoiled in the way of beaches. Spain is an exotic land with a lot to offer... but not in the way of beaches! We toured the east coast from Benidorm, Malaga, Granada, Valencia and up to Barcelona, San Sebastion and Bilbao. Had a heap of fun, great food, but dont recall meeting a single local person....
