This was probably one of the best weekends of my life.  I was working for a company in Toronto and to this day I have never worked with such a brilliant group of people.   Each year there is always a big trip away alternating between men only and then the wifes and girlfriends. As you can see this was a men only weekend.   This obviousley led to us quickly deteriorating to caveman mentality, (not that we had far to go). Poor bodily hygiene, all food washed down...

Toronto, Canada -› -› ...
Well I have not had constant internet in a while so I think I will just finish up Toronto in this post, even though it has been about a week since I left. We had to stay an extra day; but unfortunately we could stay in the same hostel since it was booked. They recommended another hostel down the road, Canadiana Backpackers. It was an ok hostel; but it was much bigger and did not feel all that comfortable as the smaller hostel do. Of course, it definitely could not compare to Clarence C...

Irked at five dollars a gallon for gas and $3.50 for a package of crackers, I'm determined not to spend any more money that I absolutely have to in Canada... Again, I did visit Toronto back in 03--I recall enjoying a great sandwich down i...

Bilingual Beggars

Spent a few hours in Toronto. The thing that struck me the most was how the beggars would strike up a conversation in French and then switch to English. And they wouldn't simply ask for money - everyone had a very "interesting" story. It's a pity they couldn't utilise their skills in a more valuable way
