Great bar a little hidden in DC Dec 07, 2009
If you get to Tonic for happy hour, you can have a great burger and tater tots (yup, like the ones you had in high school) for half price! They have about 8 different burgers to choose from including the irony burger for vegetarians, but the guac burger with guacamole seems to be popular as well.

They have a nice cozy quaint downstairs that can get really packed and an upstiars seating area for larger groups or families. Downstairs is nice and dark. They also have half price draft beers but I couldn't tell you what they were; I don't drin beer.

It's sort of behind Adams Morgan on a back street that is developing and so be ready to pay for street parking until 830pm (parking doesn't end at 6). I went with a large group and so we are required to pay a 20% gratuity; just FYI to look at your whole bill and not to add any extra money (unless you think your waitress deserves it of course!). Happy Hour ends at 7.

Tonic Foggy Bottom is one of my favorite happy hour joints. Great draft beer selection, all half off!
