Up-scale dining and prices Jun 15, 2009
Another very recent entry into the growing up-scale establishments here in Visalia is Tommy's. Owned and operated by a local boy, Tommy Chavez who has spent most of his life in the food business. After working at Emeril's MGM Grand in Las Vegas he came back to California and was Executive Chef at Harris Ranch Restaurant for several years. He delivers a very up-scale menu of all of the dishes you expect in this type of place. The atmosphere is simple but nice, with tables and chairs, no booths. There are two separate privacy rooms for parties of 14 and 25. Also, a separate bar, where you can buy some special Signature drinks he has concocted. They have had music presented previously, but that may have been only for their grand opening. This is another of the places where if you need to ask price, you probably shouldn't be there. My rating is good, but not special, sorry.
