We only experienced the drinking side of this place, and chose it on the pragmatic ground that it was an easy walk from the flat. There was nothing to complain about: it was quiet and comfortable, the staff were pleasant and the drinks were reasonably priced. But it was very ordinary and seemed to lack any kind of atmosphere. On the other hand, by the time we had finished we didn't much care whether it had any atmosphere or not :)
It is well away from the centre of Berlin, and as far as the bar was concerned there would seem to be no reason to travel any distance to drink there.  Part of the Berlin, 7th to 12th October 2004 travel blog |
