Two and a half weeks of travel in Japan: couple of days on my of travel in Japan: couple of days on my own, the rest on a tour with Intrepid!

What was supposed to be a routine visit to Rochester, MN ended up extending to New York over Halloween and all the way to Japan for an amazing tour of that incredibly strange but awesome country.

We left the tourist guide on the plane. lol

One week in Tokyo with friends! It was an awesome trip. I used to live there so going back brought back great memories!

Man, I cant believe that I've been to Japan! Me, Yahooey-San! Im far away from the sun and sand of Bahamaland. Im in the land of video games, electronics, neon signs and custom Mitsubishis, Toyotas and Nissans, oh I cannot forget Mt Fuji-San! *Hey, Im not a rhyme master, so sue me!* I enjoyed my trip to the Land of the Rising Sun where the old world "high fives" the modern world. I enjoyed the view of Mt Fuji and the trip on the bullet train. Take it from me Tokyo is a must visit!

One month in Japan, mostly with Yoko, my best Japanese friend.. a month in Osaka and a week in Tokyo.. it's fantastic experience.. I met also Noriko, Kitty, Taka, Shie and Yuka.. It was also the most English I spoke in life!! What?? Why not the UK? My 2 year in England? I had Chinese friends there.. ha ha..

Na 3 maanden thuis geweest te zijn en ik al een maand niet echt werk gehad had heb ik besloten om er 2 maanden tussen uit te gaan als eerste naar Japan en daar na door naar China. Toen ik dat thuis zij, wou me moeder ook wel mee maar Japan. Dus vandaar dat we nu met zijn tweeën in Japan zitte…

This year was amazing, we managed to do not one but TWO round the world. Once going west using STAR Alliance and another one going east using OneWorld Alliance. Check Photos on each stop!

We packed up in the morning and headed to downtown Tokyo with Yukiko. It took quite a while and it was so expensive! Public transit in Japan is very pricey.
