Despite getting a horrible case of food poisoning from the second time I went here (if you're interested in the fun details check out the journal entry in my Seattle/Vancouver trip) , the quality of the food here is amazing and the service is excellent. I would recommend ordering the "Omakase", which is a pre-set, fixed course meal that the chef prepares each day based on the preferences of the diners and the availability of the freshest ingredients. You never know what you're going to get, but that's part of the fun, and each course will leave your mouth watering in anticipation for the next one. The sashimi is so fresh and flavorful, and the texture so perfect, that you'll want to savor every chew. The restaurant itself is located at the top of a commerical strip mall looking building, but don't be deceived by the exterior. If the weather is seasonable, I would recommend getting a seat outside on the patio, where you can enjoy a great view of the city.
View of Vancouver from the outdoor…
