Toastbox Singapore Reviews
Cuppa Coffee at Toastbox Singapore Apr 16, 2012
Toastbox , the name of this coffee joint will tell you that it serves toast.
A subsidiary of Breadtalk Group Singapore , this coffee joint has made itself bigger and still expending. one of the latest would be an addition to Marina Bay Sands. It all started off in December 2005 as a food stall unit in Food Republic (also one of Breadtalk Group) The coffee joint gets more and more of support and started expanding.
For all locations of this coffee joint, check out http://www.toastbox.com.sg/locate-us.html . I don't bother listing them out as they are expending every now and then and it's better for you to check out the main site for the location.
Kopi or in english term coffee with bread , butter and kaya is the way of live for generation of the elder and became a trend in Singapore for a period of time.
Toastbox serves a variety of different kind of toast. The list of menu can be simply found here : http://www.toastbox.com.sg/food.html#
I personally prefer kopi gao meaning "coffee that is a little more concentrated" tell the cashier that and you will be served with a coffee more concentrated.
As mentioned in my A day in Singapore Journal , if you haven't seen it do take a look, there are different ways to order coffee in Singapore. From Kopi to Kopi C to Kopi O and Kopi Kosong.
Toastbox @ Victoria street is one of the toast box that I like because they have seats along the street that allows me to grab a book and do some people watching. The place can be crowded at off peak hours.
Enjoy your cup of coffee with a few slice of toast. The simple pleasures in life.
