tjornarp is a sleepy little place in the center of the verry south of sweden, skane. It has a population of aprox. a thousand inhabitants.Its at walking distance of tjornarps lake where you can walk , swim ,row your boat and fish, ore walk for hours in the extensive woods wich suround this little place and lake.in the woods theres the posibility of dear, fox, wild boar and sometimes (but seldom) moose encounters.
there is no industrie here no hotel ore restaurant. There is a flowershop wich is also the postoffice. there is another shop selling milk bread newspapers and Thai products, In the evening the owners wife cooks thai meals from a trailer around the corner.
At walking distance along route 23 in the direction of hassleholm there is a prehistoric burialsite where the prehistoric tjornarpees buried there dead in vikingship shaped graves.
