Titi Canopy Tour Manuel Antonio Reviews
You'll wanna do it again! May 04, 2011
Me and a friend did the canopy tour and although the price was $60 we got it for cheaper by booking with our hostel. We were picked up in a mini bus, with a number of 'older' (I'm being kind!!) adventurers and eventually arrived at the location.
The staff were really great and friendly and explained how to manoeuvre the zip line and though you initially feel anxious about whether you'll get your hand stuck, or go too slow and have to be rescued, or too fast and kick the guy off the other end - after the first line its very easy!
The guides are great and point out the wildlife along the way and they provide you with lunch after.
The zip lines vary in length and gradient and even my friend who's afraid of heights really enjoyed it as you're not focused on looking down, the final zip is up to you - either normal zip or a vertical one. If you decide to go vertical then a word of advice, apparently there's no word for 'slowly' they drop you fast!!! So much fun and highly recommended - wish I had also done the night zip!

Great Zipline Adventure May 02, 2011
We had a blast with this group. They arrived promptly and transported us to the lobby where we signed the waiver, dropped our packs, and then boarded the bus again for a short ride to the start of the tour.
Once there our guides quickly outfitted us with a pair of leather gloves, helmet, and web harness. Using a demonstration cable they were able to orient us quickly to the easy to follow rules. 1) Don't manipulate the equipment. There was a guide at every platform to do this for us. 2) You slow down by pulling down on the cable behind your head, never needing to put your hand in front of the pulley.
It was that simple, but the experience was amazing. This group had 13 zip lines and were able to get our group of about 30 through quickly. A photographer was on hand to take pictures of us as well.
Once done they had some snack for us and took us back to where we stayed. All done, it was about 3 or 4 hours of a tour.
Everyone who started the tour a bit nervous of heights felt safe and were thrilled they had completed it.
