Tiquina Strait - Estrecho de Tiquina Oct 03, 2010
Today, Lake Titicaca is the featured destination, and I have to note a place “Tiquina Strait” “Estrecho de Tiquina” that has a great view of the lake and is a mandatory boat ride connecting the dots between the town of “San Pablo de Tiquina” and “San Pedro de Tiquina”.

I say it is mandatory, because the road from Copacabana to La Paz or vice versa by land is interrupted in this point because it is the place where you must have to cross the "Tiquina Strait" in boats and the buses and cars in barges.

For the tourists who are traveling for the first time and do not know, many times at this point are surprised because they have to get off the bus and take the boat, but is one of the highlights of the trip to relax and have a beautiful view of the lake.

It is good to remember the trips, I guess the pop corn was the "Pasankalla" (a swett pop corn) and the fried fish was "Trucha" a good fish in the Titicaca Lake:)

Very good review. Done this, but only store in the memory till I see your review. Yes, one thing that Must Do and it is so interesting. I was not surprised because I was pre-warned about it. Again, it is in the memory as it was 2 years ago! I even bought the "pop corn" and the "fried fish" snack from the jetty on both sides.
