Eventhough this is totally up to you, I will give you a couple of hints. Most people in Tanzania and Kenia are very poorly paid. They get an average of 250$ per month so tips are important for them. In most of the hotels you normally tip 1U$ per person. For your guide is about 5US$ per person a day, and 3US$ for the driver. Of course that happens if you are satisfied with the service. If you are not, just go lower and if you think they even deserve more, just do it! By the way, if you have old mobiles, glasses, t-shirts, cups, ball-pens, watches, just take them with you to Africa, they will be so grateful! If you visit a Massai Village, they ask for Money if you want to get in and take pictures. For 6 people we paid 100 US$ (not a bargain).

J Today we were changing guides so we had to tip him. He was not too good, so we just gave him 5$ per day/person (60 dollars) and we gave he driver (30 dollars). This is a Standard (5 dollars per day and person).
