I really liked these ruins because they weren't crowded. You are able to walk all over the ruins at your own pace and enjoy the ingenuity of the Incas. The only problem with the ruins is that it is a bit tricky to get there. If you want to go cheaply it's possible, but a bit of a hassle (we used a micro and then a taxi and then a micro). If you want to pay a taxi driver for the whole day that's easier transportation but more expensive.

  • Directions: These ruins are southwest of the city. You'll need to take a micro on Av.de la Cultura that says Tipon and is heading away from the centro to get to the ruins. Each ride on a micro should cost 1 sol.
