Waking up late, well, not late in general, just late for my trip, I hobbled down the one street town to grab some grub to rejuvinate me from the night before. Some roti canai and a tea later, I was back on my way to the beach to do some more relaxing and snorkeling, snorkeling and relaxing. I needed a book. After waving good-bye to friends and family in our Island home Tasmania, we were quickly on our way to our honeymoon stop off on Palau Tioman (which is on the east coast of Malaysia). Here we enjoyed lots of swimming, snorkelling(amazing coral and fish), mountain trecking (bare foot)and relaxation. The island is remote, with no internal road the only way to gain access is via speed boat. One word of warning look out for coconut throwing monkeys!!

We have traveled to Malaysia with our daughter, who is almost 2. It was great. With only the 2 of us we would have seen a lot more, but travelling with a small child is very different to backpacking....
Everything went ok, everyone was very nice to us and we have been to beautiful places, but there is always so much more to see...
we have been to KL, Cameron Highlands, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Bahru, Taman Negara, temerloh, Melakka and Pulau Tioman.
I wish holidays were longer than 3 weeks.....
