Tintern Vacation Guide
Tintern is a small place on the banks of the river Wye. Apart from the ruins of teh famous Abbey, there are two or three pubs, a Best Western Hotel, adn several craft shops.
The landscape around Tintern is very pretty, and there are lots of well signposted walks.
Tintern is close to Chepstow and is close to the Severn Crossings, making it a very easy day trip from Cardiff or Bristol if you have access to a car.
