The mythical place Timbuktu Jun 13, 2011
People often make jokes about it, Donald Duck went there.
But only a few people know this mythical place really exist.
Timbuktu, a sandy place at the edge off the desert.
Tuareg (a Berber people of pastoralists in the Sahara and Sahel) used it as a place for the caravan trade in salt. Timbuktu is also famous for its manuscripts.
It is like go back toward to middle ages.
The best way to describe it is, sandy, hot and so worthwhile.
Timbuktu has since 1988 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
