Timbuktu is notoriously difficult to get to. Rough, bumpy sandy roads all add to the enigma of this city.
Nowadays it seems to have all the allure of a typical tourist trap and nothing much to see or do except stroll around the narrow streets.
But hey, who else do you know that has been to a place many people think doesn't even exist!!!
