Tillamook Vacation Guide
Tillamook is on Highway 101 situated just inland of the coast on Tillamook Bay. Highway 6 comes in from Portland and ends at Tillamook. The town is not located on the coast so if you area looking for a vacation on the coast you will have to look elsewhere.
The town is one of the larger towns on the coast with a population of almost 5,000 and you can expect to find just about any service you would need there. There are lots of motels, gas stations, major grocery store chains, A Walmart, hardware stores.
The town is a dairy farm community servicing the huge Tillamook Cheese factory so you can expect to smell the odor of cow as you drive through town.
For things to do go to the Tillamook Cheese factory, visit the Tillamook Air Museum or drive the short distance over to the coast.

Every summer i go to the oregon coast to go camping with my church. we go for about four days and hang out on the beach and bbq and go crabbing and just hang out. its always fun to see people and talk to people that i don't see too often. plus we love to go to the tillamook cheese factory! haha
