Located in the hills of Berkeley, Tilden Park is a great place to escape to for an afternoon. There are countless forest trails to walk, hike or jog on. The natural scenery is so beautiful that you will feel like you are far away from civilization, and it is quite a contrast from the urban grit of Telegraph Ave.or downtown Berkeley. Lake Anza is great place to pass a sunny afternoon and the botanic gardens are also quite beautiful and free to enter. Although I don't golf, the Tilden Park Golf Course is also nearby.
If you're here at night, this is also a good place to look at the stars. |
