Tikal is one of the largest excavated Mayan cities in Central America. Took a trip to Belize to bike across the country...... what an amazing way to see a country - completely off the beaten path. It was a tough haul cycling through the moutains in +80 degree weather and then kipping in a tent on the side of the road..... but it was an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade in and will always remember.
