I made a Maya Mystery tour, visting all the major sites of the ancient Mayas in Mexico Honduras and Guatamala.

January - March 2007, visited Xela, Panajachel, San Pedro, Monterrico, Rio Dulce, Tikal, Semuc Champey, and Antigua. Studied Spanish for about 5 weeks altogether and explored...good times!!

Tikal is one of the largest excavated Mayan cities in Central America. You can wander around for hours, even days between the temples and still haven't seen it all And there's lots that is not even discovered yet! Took a trip to Belize to bike across the country...... what an amazing way to see a country - completely off the beaten path. It was a tough haul cycling through the moutains in +80 degree weather and then kipping in a tent on the side of the road..... but it was an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade in and will always remember.

I spent October 2006 through February 2007 traveling in Central America. I started in Belize and flew home from Panama. It was a fantastic trip and I look forward to returning to some favorite spots.

As my graduating present to myself, I took a random trip to Belize with some of my closest friends. I'm writing this after the fact, but I'll try to capture the trip as best as I can. This was my first journey out of North America, and I'm hooked!

Flores is a beautiful city, and is extremely well taken care of. Tourism is the number one industry here, however, it is not touristy bad like Playa Del Carmen, there are still relatively few tourists here.
