Ecstatic View! Dec 07, 2008
In the quaint hills of the famous tea producing areas of West Bengal lies Tiger Hill. It is an elevation of about 8500 feet, it gives one a great sunrise to start the day.
One should be there by 4 30 am or so. On the far left side lies hidden Mountains which cannot be seen. One of them is the mighty Kangchenjunga. Nothing else is visible from this vantage point which is the highest peak in surround areas. On the far right, the sky turns a shade of orange and then the Mighty Sun rises from under you.
Infact, it takes the Sun a long time to reach eye level ! As it rises, a tinge of red, blood red, spreads over the mountains on the far left. They illuminate giving you a wonderful view !
Be well geared for bitter cold weather!!
