This place is a real waker-upper. There's no way anyone can miss this purple, green, yellow and orange building. Really. It just screams pastel from a mile away. Inside is no different. Walking up the steps and reaching the landing to the reception are the pink walls of the hall bedecked with framed photos of the Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and other 60s pop icons. In between, the doors are painted baby blue.

Don't expect the rooms to be any different. Mine was totally in keeping with the theme - pink walls with 5-inch green polka dots all around. Blankets and blinds are in purple.

Hmmmm.

But hey, it has the essentials - an AC in good working condition, hot water in a roomy bathroom, a warm bed for the night, a table for 4 and lots of room for all the stuff you didn't bring. And, the free meal you get in the morning gives you the bragging rights that you had "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

That is, until you're advised that the breakfast is actually served at the Macy's Diner downstairs, and not quite at Tiffany's. ;-)

An added plus is that it's walking distance to the plaza and there's a number of ATM's nearby.
